Lateramen Built the Expertise. Laterart Puts It Into Form.

Custom ceramic and stone elements for architecture, and the production company behind the brand.

Lateramen started as a family business in the 1990s. Over the following decades, the company grew from a local ceramic installer into a full production and installation operation working across Croatia, Austria, Germany, and Slovenia. In 2012, Ozren Urem founded his own company, building on that foundation and pushing it further. Today, Lateramen has more than 60 people and a track record that includes some of the most demanding hospitality and residential projects in the region.

That history is what Laterart is built on.

What Lateramen Does

Lateramen produces and installs ceramic and stone elements for interiors and architecture. The work covers kitchen countertops, quartz islands, sinks, fireplaces, wall surfaces, pool tiling, and large-scale surface projects for hotels, private residences, and public spaces.

Every step happens within the same company. Material selection, cutting, surface treatment, and on-site installation are all managed by one team. When production and installation sit inside the same organization, what was designed is what gets built. Specifications stay intact from the first decision through to the final result.

Lateramen has been the execution partner for premium venues across Croatia and internationally, working with porcelain ceramic and sintered quartz across a wide range of project types.

Where Laterart Comes From

Working closely with architects and designers over many years made one thing clear. The people who design spaces need more than a production company. They need a partner who speaks their language, understands the logic of a project, and contributes technical input from the early stages, not just at the fabrication phase.

Laterart was created to be exactly that.

The brand brings Lateramen's full production capability into direct contact with architects, interior designers, and investors. It operates as a project partner, present from the first material conversation through to completed installation, with the same team accountable at every stage.

What Laterart Builds

Laterart works on made-to-measure ceramic and quartz elements for interiors and architecture. Every piece is specific to its project. The material, porcelain ceramic or sintered quartz, is chosen based on what the project requires. The element is then built around the design intent and installed on site.

The scope covers sinks, kitchen islands, countertops, wall surfaces, fireplaces, and architectural ceramic elements. Each project starts from the brief and ends with a finished element in the space it was designed for.

Lateramen and Laterart

Laterart is Lateramen's brand, built for direct collaboration with architects, designers, and project teams. Same production floor. Same people. Same expertise built over more than three decades of real project work.
